Shadows:Travel.I chose to photograph a shadow of myself with a suitcase. This was taken at dirt road near my home. I think it is fun to walk down this road and think about who else has gone down this road and details about who they are. The story of this photograph is about a man and a woman. They have had a struggling relationship and are unsure of what the future holds. Through all of their tears, love still remains. Although this is true, both are too stubborn to admit their feelings for each other. The man leaves and struggles to decide if he should stay gone. For this photograph I used "vibrance" to make the purple tone of the photograph bold. A struggle I had was being able to have both my arms to my side while I took the photo. I accomplished this by using a camera timer.

Reflections:Branches.I chose to photograph branches reflecting in the water outside of my house. I think this spot is very beautiful and I love to just sit and watch the leaves rustle. The story of this photograph is about a little leaf. The little leaf grew up with countless brothers and sisters. One day a giant storm occurs and the little leaf is blown from home. As the storm settles, the siblings realize he is gone! The little leaf glides all over the world until finally reuniting with his family. I used "brightness and contrast" to make the branches and the details of the branches stand out against the water. I also used "curves" to brighten the reflection photograph. A struggle I had was focusing on the branches and not the water with my camera. I accomplished this by turning my camera onto manual focus and adjusting as needed.
